projects / resort / Schlosshotel Berlin by Patrick Hellmann
Schlosshotel Berlin is a historic villa in Berlin-Grunewald, built in the early 20th century and later used across different eras as a private residence, an embassy, and a naval officers’ club before becoming a luxury hotel.
In 2014, fashion designer Patrick Hellmann acquired the property and began a careful restoration, preserving period detailing while updating the hotel’s atmosphere for contemporary hospitality.
The hotel offers 43 rooms and 10 suites, with part of the interior character shaped by Karl Lagerfeld’s 1990s design scheme in selected “Classic” rooms, alongside newer spaces introduced under Hellmann’s direction.
